Having fun with embroidering again... Tea Towels!

I am a member on MaryJanesFarm's Connection. I have signed up to do a tea towel swap. I have enjoyed it so much that I have kept on doing more and more embroidering on the tea towels. Finally, I made one just for me. It seems that when I make things, I'd forget to do it for me too. Well, not this time! I made the lilac one for me. The lilacs hold many memories from my youth. At my Grandma's and my childhood home with my Mom and now my own!
This one I made specially JUST for me!

"It's Spring... Do you know where your bloomers are?" and "In the Spring, at the end of the day, You should smell like dirt." were made for the two Farmgirls in the swap!
I had fun!

My new title.... Lady Karrieann

Last night I became an official member of the Ladies' Oriental Shrine of North American (L.O.S.N.A.). I entered the court as a Princess and was raised to Lady.
It is very special to me to be a part of this group. Many would recognize us ladies as Lady Shriners. Yes, we also wear fezzes but ours are white, as opposed to red.
When the Shriners founded the Shrine Hospitals for Children and the first hospital was built in 1922, the Ladies committed to supporting the Shrine’s official philanthropy.  Today the Courts continue to support the hospital fund, hospital sewing, research projects and other areas of interest.  Each Court not only raises funds for the hospitals, but they donate clothing, stuffed animals, purchase equipment, man the information desk in the various hospitals and serve as office personnel on a voluntary basis.  The LOSNA contributes well over a half million dollars yearly to the Shrine Hospitals.
